KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Erra Fazira finally came out to clarify her relationship with the two men in her life, the so-called love triangle that has been making headlines in the Malay media. The former Miss Malaysia said she started dating actor-TV presenter Hans Isaac late last year but the relationship had ended in February this year, according to Utusan Malaysia yesterday. “I admit that I was close to Hans but it was not to the stage of being in love ... we were still trying to figure out our compatibility. “It was partly my fault because I was not frank with Hans as I did not want to hurt his feelings. I only told him two weeks ago,” said Erra, who is also a singer. This explanation comes three days after the so-called love triangle hit the Malay media with Hans saying that Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin, the chief operating officer of SuriaFM, was the cause of their break-up. The 33-year-old actress, who was once married to Yusry of KRU, stressed that Engku Emran, 32, was not the cause of her break-up with Hans. She said her relationship with Engku Emran was still in its early stages. “I've been friends with him for just two months. We are still getting to know each other. It has not reached that far (to the stage of getting married),” she said. She explained that when Hans went to her house in Damansara – where she lived with two cousins, a personal assistant and a maid – he had seen Engku Emran there. “When Hans came, Engku Emran was at my house enjoying dinner after coming back from a movie. But what happened was not as reported on the Internet,” she said. Engku Emran has also said he and Erra were just starting to get to know one another. Erra is currently filming Bollywood thriller Hidden, alongside Hollywood actor Christopher Atkins.
